Do I need to install anything?
No. TikTalk runs in a current browser and uses its built-in speech voices.
Is my password safe?
Yes. Your TikTalk password is stored only as a secure hash, so nobody can read it back, including us. TikTok never sees it. Connecting TikTok is separate: you approve it on TikTok's own page, and TikTalk never sees your TikTok password.
How long does my TikTok connection last?
Access tokens last one hour and TikTalk refreshes them automatically while you stay connected. Full reconnection is required after up to 30 days, or sooner if access is revoked or TikTok invalidates the session. Your TikTalk sign-in is separate and is not affected.
Why is beta approval required?
The private beta lets us support users closely, manage connection capacity, and improve accessibility before launch.
What moderation tools are available?
Eligible activity provides Add moderator, Mute for five minutes, and Block controls. TikTok must supply the viewer and room identifiers required for an action. While connected you can also manage your TikTok sensitive-words list, so unwanted comments are hidden by TikTok itself, and turn LIVE comments on or off.
Where do sound-alert sounds come from?
Search Myinstants from the Sound alerts page and pick one, or upload your own: mp3, wav or ogg files up to 1 MB each, up to 30 of them. Myinstants sounds play from their site; uploaded sounds are stored with your account. Either way your alerts follow you across devices and play in OBS too.
Why did a sound alert not play?
Browsers block audio until you have interacted with the page. Pressing Connect or a Test button unlocks sound, and TikTalk announces when a sound is being blocked. A sound that fails is announced once, and the alert clears itself when the sound plays again.
Can I connect more than one LIVE?
No. Each TikTalk account is limited to one active LIVE connection.
What analytics can TikTalk show?
TikTalk shows available data from your previous broadcasts over the last seven days. This can include broadcast totals and details, creator earnings, and regional rankings when TikTok and EulerStream provide them. Missing values are identified as unavailable instead of being presented as zero.
What happens after a reconnect?
TikTalk tracks activity identifiers so previously spoken messages are not intentionally read again.
