Stream Deck and remote control

Every action on your LIVE page has its own private link. Put one on a Stream Deck key with its Website action, or on a button in Bitfocus Companion or Touch Portal. A MIDI controller works through a MIDI-to-HTTP bridge, such as Bome MIDI Translator.

Hold speech, skip, mute, block, read the last line again, say what just happened, play, pause and skip songs, push to talk, and turn captions on or off. Each press is said on your LIVE page, so you know it arrived. Block needs two presses.

Then a list of links, each in its own box with a Copy button: Hold speech, or let it go (one button); Hold speech; Let speech go; Skip the message being read; Mute who is being read; Block who is being read (press twice within 3 seconds); Read the last line again; Say what just happened. Each link is an api.ttlk.live address ending in the action, such as /skip.

Push to talk

Hold the talk button and say skip, hold, carry on, read that again, what just happened, or next song. Mute and block ask first: talk again and say yes. Speech waits while you talk.

Can’t hold a button down? Turn on Tap to talk: press once to start and again to stop. On the AI plans, anything else you say goes to the AI assistant.

Example: spoken commands by push to talk.
  • You say skip Skipped
  • You say read that again Read again
  • You say mute Asks first
  • You say yes Muted
Hold to talk

Keys you choose

Single-key shortcuts start off, so a stray letter from dictation or a screen reader can’t skip, mute or block anyone. Turn them on and change any letter. Block asks you to press its key a second time.

Keys with Command or Shift always work: Command and a number reads a figure, and Shift with the arrows runs the songs. With single-key shortcuts on, the question mark lists every key.

Example: the keyboard shortcuts settings.
  • Single-key shortcuts, off
  • Skip the message being read N
  • Read the last line again R
  • Say what just happened W

Off for a new account. Turn it on, and change any letter.

Words said your way

Teach the voice a name, word or emoji it says wrong, hear how it sounds, and TikTalk says it your way wherever it reads aloud, in every voice.

Example: teaching the voice how to say a name and an emoji.
  • Written as Siobhán Say it as Shiv-awn Hear it
  • Written as 🥁 Say it as drums Hear it

Read as Shiv-awn says drums tonight

What just happened? and Read that again

Missed something? “What just happened?” sums up the last minute: comments, the biggest gifts, new followers and the song playing. “Read that again” repeats the last line. Both work from a key, a Stream Deck button or your voice, and “What just happened?” has a button on the LIVE page too.

On the AI plans, the AI can write the summary instead.

Example: “What just happened?”, said aloud.
What just happened?

In the last minute: 6 comments, the latest from Priya: play the drum one again. Top gifts: Alex sent 5 Roses; Tom sent a Rose. New follower: Sam. Playing Golden Hour by JVKE.

Large print

Make the chat, the activity and the song list on your LIVE page larger, in four sizes, while the buttons keep their size. The site also has a high contrast theme.

Example: larger text on the LIVE page.

Questions

Which plan includes this?
Included in every plan. Asking the AI by push to talk, and its written summaries, come with Standard with AI and AI with premium voices.
Do I need a Stream Deck?
No. Everything works from the LIVE page’s buttons and keys. The links are for anyone who wants physical buttons.
Do the links work when I’m not LIVE?
No. They work while your LIVE page is connected to your LIVE, so nothing pressed between LIVEs fires later.
What if someone sees a link?
Make new links from the Stream Deck page. Every old link stops working at once.
Does push to talk need Chrome?
It uses the browser’s speech recognition, so it needs Chrome or Edge on a computer, which send the sound to Google or Microsoft to recognise it.
